Kevin and I decided we needed to go on vacation. We wanted to go to Europe, but we more wanted to go somewhere warm. Europe in March is not warm. So we decided to head to the Southern-most part of our country and drive there. Today we packed up our bags into the car and headed off.
The girls really did great the extent of the drive. Karis fell asleep for a good portion of it, and the rest they were entertained by the LeadPad and iPad. We did have to drive by one "sea" to get to the other one. This sea is really beautiful and has breath-taking views.
Most of the drive is pretty boring. Not much to look at except dry mountains. This one is supposedly kinda famous, though.
Once we made it to the hotel we were happy to step out into the warm air and get our stuff unpacked. This is a view of the pool from our balcony. The evenings here are a little cool, but we are ready for a fun-filled day tomorrow!
