Happy Halloween!

We had our second annual "Fall Festival" party tonight.  We were low in numbers tonight, but not low in spirit.  We had a good time eating and playing games.  And the kids (and some adults) had fun dressing up.

We played some Apples to Apples and also a game for the kids. We had a fun night!

Facepaint

When we picked up Karis from daycare today she had her face painted. There was a birthday party for one of the other kids and they decided to paint the kids faces. Aparently, Karis came out of it with very little paint. Some kids had a lot! Wish I had pictures of those faces.

At the Zoo

There are so many animals to see at the zoo. Come along so Eliana and Karis can show them to you!

I thought this black swan was very unique. Very pretty!

The tiger was sitting right in the window for us to see and she even got up and walked around so we could see her up close. 

One of our favorite locations at the zoo is the tropical bird feeding area. You pay about 50 cents for this cup of liquid stuff and take it around to the birds and they will eat right out of the cup.

Karis was not so sure about feeding the birds.

The day was nice and cool and the animals were fairly active, which made for a really nice day.
