Today was an extra fun day. We went to this place called Dolphin Reef. They have a beach where the girls had fun swimming in the water and playing in the rocky sand (next time we'll take water shoes!)
I'm really glad we thought to bring the sand toys because this gave the girls something to do. The water was fine to swim in, not too cold. But they loved playing.
After a while we walked out onto the docks where you could watch 7 dolphins play in their natural habitat. This was the view of the beach from the docks.
They have these cushions you can sit on to watch and relax. Or you can stick your feet into the water to attract the dolphins.
We had such a fun time watching them swim and play.
Also on the beach were peacocks. I think this male was trying to attract a mate because he was just walking all about with his tail feathers.
After the beach we went for some ice cream. Sadly, Karis slept through the whole thing.
Where the ice cream shop is located there is a boardwalk where you can do some shopping, they have fun rides, or you can enjoy the scenery from the bridge. It's a beautiful location!
