Celebrating the Super Bowl

After church today we took the girls to a picnic area where there is an open field, just right for a little flag football. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time celebrating Super Bowl Sunday.

This was the first time either of the girls have really ever played with a football, so needless to say neither one of them knew what to do. But they had fun with their friends.

We met some of our American friends and their kids to play together. We also enjoyed some baseball too, but I didn't take any pictures of that.

Kevin tried to show Eliana how to take the ball and run down the field. They play "football" at home sometimes, which really just consists of them saying, "Down, Set, Hike!" and then one of them tackling the other one into the couch. So no one ever runs or throws a ball.

After a couple of plays and no touchdown, someone decided she didn't want to play football anymore.

We had such a great time in the nice weather. But once the sun went down over the hill is started to get cold and it was time to pack up and go home.
