This week we made two new purchases to make this summer a little more enjoyable. Eliana loves her new pool. (Karis was taking a nap.)
She enjoyed splashing around...
...and pretending like she's the Little Mermaid.
We also bought this new toy for Kevin. Yum!
The girls were very interested in what daddy was doing out there.
We loved grilling in Texas, so this makes our new home feel more like home.
Here, you don't pay the price they tell you for items, unless it is already marked. Haggling for a price is difficult for Americans in stores. So when we go to buy something, it's always intimidating to start in the negotiations. But I was able to bring the price down by about $13 for the grill and $3 for the pool. Not much, but hey, we saved money!
