English Camp and Yummy Lunch

The last couple of days we have helped with an English camp in a village about 30 minutes away. A team from the States came to do the camp and we have served as translators.

They have an English class, music, crafts and recreation. They are a lively group of kinds and we have enjoyed it so far. They seem to be learning quickly!

After the camp is over each day we eat lunch with a family from the village. Today at the family home, we learned how to make bread on rocks. She makes the dough from flour, water and salt and kneads it.

They have an oven built outside. The fire is under the rocks and they place to dough right on top of the rocks,

Then they cover the hole and let it set for just a few minutes.

It makes this really wonderful bread and we loved eating it with our meal. We had a great conversation with the family and hope to be able to return again soon to visit them.
