We don't have a nice park nearby. There are a couple of parks, but he equipment is broken and there isn't much grass. So when we get to go to a park, we just love it. We had lunch after services today with another couple who lives across the street from this park. The weather was gorgeous and the girls enjoyed the fresh air.
After we ate and were still talking, Karis wanted to get down and play. So I let her down, but constantly had to keep her from putting bottle caps and other "treasures" in her mouth - she even found a lost pacifier! There were also some doves and crows nearby that she tried to chase.
Eliana and Karis both hopped onto the swings. Kevin kept pushing Eliana higher and higher - much higher than she'd ever been before and she loved it. I put Karis in the swing and pushed her and she just started laughing! She laughed the entire time she was in the swing. It was so cute and so funny!
We had a good day and hopefully we'll be able to go back soon!
