More Ruins, A Fun Visit, and More Yummy Food (of course!)

Today we stayed close to home and checked out some old parts of the surrounding area. Here we found some old work areas of a village. There were olive presses and animals stalls.

One area had been turned into a small amphitheater and the girls enjoyed climbing on the stairs.

Underneath this area was a small set of caves, but sadly we forgot to take our flashlights to go exploring. I think Kevin's mom was glad about that!

And everything overlooked these beautiful fields in the distance.

Kevin was sick in the morning, so I showed them around. But after some more rest, he was feeling much better and showed us another interesting place where there is a natural spring and some old pools that held the water. But before we saw those, we stopped to find our way and these little girls were eager to pose for pictures.

In the evening we had a visit with some friends in their home. We were able to have good conversation with them and we told them about Karis getting her head stuck in the bars of the fence. We all laughed and had a good time. Then afterwards we ate and our favorite kabab place. We had chicken, beef and lamb kababs, with pita and hummus, Greek salad and Cesar salad.
