You might remember last year, our friend's son's birthday is 4 days before Karis' birthday, so we have had joint parties for them each year. This year we decided on a milk and cookies party.
We made 3 different kinds of cookies: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and peanut butter buddies; and had 4 different kinds of milk: chocolate, banana, strawberry and plain.
For the decor we just used a simple milk and cookie graphic and kept everything low-key. And it all turned out really cute with all the pink, blue, brown and white.
Karis loved the cookie, but wasn't quite sure how to blow out the candle, so big sister stepped in to help!
But she had no problem eating her cookie and drinking her milk by herself!
She got several great gifts from friends and we had good fellowship tonight. We're so glad to have people all the way on the other side of the world to be family with us.
Karis' birthday is on Monday, so I'm sure we'll have many more pictures to share. Stay tuned!
