Karis LOVED playing in the sand and wanted to eat all the seashells...and the sand.
Eliana wasn't so sure about the water, but she loved finding seashells and playing in the sand. We bought a toy set with a pail, shovels and beach shapes to take with us.
It was such a fun day and a much needed break. I know we haven't been here very long yet, but if you've ever had to learn a language full time, you'll understand the need to get away once in a while.
The sunset was gorgeous!
