Face Painting

After services today we needed to get some lunch and a couple other items, so we headed to the mall to hit two birds with one stone. There was a couple of ladies there doing some face painting to "drum up some business", as Kevin put it. Why? Because it was free!

So we got in line and let Eliana pick what she wanted painted on her face. She sat so still and kept her eye closed almost the whole time. This lady was so talented and did a great job! She's from the UK and had moved here 14 years ago. She was really nice, but - sad to say - it would cost about $125 to have her come for 30 minutes for a birthday party to do face painting. Oh well!  

Here was her creation. I was sad because I didn't think to take my camera today because other kids had beautiful paintings as well. I guess I just need to take my camera with me EVERYWHERE!
