Snow Day!

This morning we woke up to snow. It was a snow day here in the ME. All the schools were closed and hardly any business were open. With all the hills it makes it really hard to drive. Kevin said he did see snow plows, so I guess they do have some of those. But still with all the hills...

When I got out to take these pictures there were some neighborhood kids playing outside throwing snowballs. When I got to the top of our driveway I could hear several kids and people playing and talking from around the area, even though I couldn't see them.

Don't think they'll be using this garden hose anytime soon.

Our teammate, a girl, said she went on a walk this morning and got snowballs thrown at her. One man threw one and it hit her on the side of her face! Today is her birthday...

Living in the midwest in the States, I was used to the snow. We got a lot of it at times and we learned how to drive on it, because many times we still had to go to work. Apparently here they don't get snow a lot, so they have no idea how to drive on it. I watched this car try to make it down the hill, a very steep and curvy hill, and all the did was slide. What were they thinking?!

This picture is looking down to our landlord's walkway. Those are lemon trees. I guess lemons grow in the winter. Those are probably frozen.
