Tonight we had her first birthday party, joined with our friend's son's first birthday. We had an ice cream bar with all the fixin's, Neapolitan cupcakes (brownie, strawberry cake and vanilla icing - an idea from Pinterest!), presents and friends.
At first Karis didn't want to eat her cake. She would just take it and throw pieces on the floor. But finally she decided to taste it and then devoured the rest.
The present opening pictures are a little fuzzy, but she enjoyed her new toys.
